Message by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to H.E. Mr. Nawaz Sharif, on the Terrorist Attack in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan

Islamabad: 17 December 2014

1. Japan condemns in the strongest terms the devastating terrorist attack in Peshawar. Such a cowardly terror that took lives of many students and teachers at school cannot be justified for any reasons.

2. On behalf of the Government and people of Japan, I express my deep　condolences to those who lost their lives and its bereaved families, and offer my heartfelt sympathy to the wound in the attacks. 

3. Japan stands with Pakistan in this difficult time. Japan will support the Government and people of Pakistan to fight against terrorism in cooperation with the international community.
